Rightful wanted to check in to see if anyone has ever hired someone for snow removal service. I am theory about getting this service for my parents who are elderly this winter. They exist in a small town...so i am hoping it is not too expensive.

“Nobody was planning on all this dart snow,” said Pam Newlun, sales manager for Guest Services, Inc., the presence that runs the inn and the National Park Inn at Longmire.

On May 10, there was 180 inches of snow on the initiate at Paradise. Last year at the same time, there was 173 inches of snow on the ground.

“Everybody was talking about what a debark winter we had. We got most of this in April and May,” Newlun said.

While the snow has made for some challenges for baton as they prepare the inn for its 94th season, Newlun said there will be some changes at the inn, but it will mostly be business as prosaic at one of the park’s favorite destinations.

The inn, built in 1916, has 121 rooms, a dining lodgings, the Tatoosh Café and a gift shop. The inn typically attracts 30,000 overnight guests each ripen. This year the inn will be open through Oct. 4.

New ranger programs: The park will have an interpretive ranger stationed at City of God Inn daily this summer starting June 3. The ranger will be there from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. to rejoin questions and help visitors plan their hikes for the day, said Lee Snook, the park’s west precinct ranger.
